The support for the Berwick 8 today was truly amazing, loads of people from different clubs all wishing the club well. The row went ok against some quality crews who let's face it we were giving a few years to. Lee missed a win in her composite 8 by 0.8 seconds with the handicap applied. Me and my composite crew mates had a good paddle finishing fastest ladies Masters 4x but then losing by 8 seconds after handicap was applied. Chris and Andrew also had a good scull with 2 from GWC, finishing 3rd behind Newcastle Uni and Agecroft. Lovely rowing conditions and fantastic to see the Southern crews coming North. Think that concludes racing for 2019.
