Tyne LDS & TU SBH 2019

Our scullers travelled to Tyne today, stayed dry this morning but a slight head wind made for a hard 5k against the tide in the LDS. Chris and Andrew continue their unbeaten run in the 2x, actually finishing 4th overall out of 142 crews racing. Very impressive lads, keep up the good work! Robin and Elvira both had very creditable performances 1x, both were said to have found conditions tough, but doing well all the same. Ziggy took an unexpected race 1x this morning borrowing Andrew's boat and doing ok for his first ever single LDS. This afternoon with the rain coming down Andrew was pleased with his 1x despite having some steering issues early on he dug deep and finished 3rd 1x overall. Mike, Will and Zig with a Cambois sit in made improvements on last weeks race at Tees and put in a very improved race against much more experienced crews. Its home water next Saturday so let's all pull together either racing or helping to have a good day.
